Power Tool

A desktop companion for people who like the terminal

Brioche works fully on its own. If you're comfortable running a program from a terminal, the free companion tool adds a few power features:

  • Bulk-add every song from a YouTube playlist at once
  • Measure BPM straight from the audio for extra accuracy
  • Send a playlist over to YouTube Music

It runs on your own computer and syncs through the same remote database. Setup needs a terminal, and Python 3.11 or newer. It's not a one-click app.

Everything the tool does runs on your own computer. Your sync details and YouTube sign-in stay on that machine and are never sent anywhere else.

Privacy

If Brioche ever crashes, send an anonymous report so we can fix it. No names, no personal info — off unless you turn it on.
